In Sam’s Name was founded in memory of a young man named Sam, whose struggle with mental health ended in tragedy. Determined to prevent other families from going through a similar experience, Sam’s loved ones launched the charity to raise awareness and provide support to those affected by mental health challenges.
The charity’s primary focus is on hosting peer support meetings, where individuals can come together in a safe and supportive environment to share their experiences and receive guidance. These meetings create a much-needed space for conversation and connection, helping reduce the stigma around mental health and providing essential coping tools for those in need.
