Feel Good Gardens is more than just a community garden; it's a sanctuary for those seeking both mental and physical well-being. At its core, the group provides access to gardening spaces and horticulture workshops for individuals who may not have access to their own garden or allotment. Participants include adults with learning differences, mental health challenges, and mobility issues. By connecting with nature, they can experience the therapeutic benefits of gardening while learning valuable new skills.
Recently, we had the pleasure of visiting Feel Good Gardens to deliver a donation raised from one of our charity raffles. This support will go towards expanding the group’s workshops and maintaining their plots, which have become a cornerstone for many in the community. The impact of the program is evident in the transformation of three neglected allotments into thriving gardens, where flowers bloom and vegetables grow.
Through gardening, people who may otherwise feel isolated find a sense of purpose and connection. We are proud to support Feel Good Gardens, knowing our donation will help continue their vital work of building both gardens and community spirit.
