Queen’s Green Canopy Tree Planting: Honouring a Legacy

Queen’s Green Canopy Tree Planting: Honouring a Legacy

In honour of Queen Elizabeth II’s 70 years of service, The Queen’s Green Canopy initiative encourages schools, corporations, and individuals to plant trees sustainably. As part of this nationwide effort, we pledged to plant 25,000 trees over the coming years, and we are proud to have planted the very first tree at our head office in Mansfield.

This tree, along with the others to follow, will be mapped as part of The Queen’s Green Canopy, creating a living legacy in honour of the Queen’s dedication to public service. The trees will be planted in the Sherwood Forest area, contributing to local biodiversity and enhancing the natural beauty of the region.

The species planted will be indigenous, ensuring that they support the local ecosystem while helping to capture carbon and combat climate change. We’re excited to continue this project and look forward to seeing our tree planting efforts grow in the years to come.
